Gaylan's Number Litter |
Over the next month Paige got bigger and bigger and we knew we had a nice-sized litter. On May 5th at 3:00 the first puppy was born and by the time she was done she delivered 14 puppies. So the Number Litter was an appropriate theme for this crew!
So at this time I would like to introduce the Gaylan's Number Litter:
Miss Raspberry was born at 3:09 and weighed in at 11 1/8 ounces
Mr. Dark Green was born at 3:30 and weighed in at 12 1/2 ounces
Mr. Brown was born at 3:33 and was our largest pup weighing in at 13 5/8 ounces
Mr. Dusty Blue was born at 3:45 and weighed in at 11 7/8 ounces
Miss Yellow was born at 4:32 and weighed in at 11 1/8 ounces
Miss Purple was born at 5:18 and weighed in at 11 1/4 ounces
Mr. Royal Blue was born at 5:21 and weighed in at 12 3/4 ounces
Miss Orange was born at 6:44 and weighed in at 11 3/8 ounces
Mr. Black was born at 7:31 and weighed in at 11 1/2 ounces
Mr. Cream (who we also call Camo) was born at 8:37 and weighed in at 11 3/4 ounces
Mr. Light Green was born at 8:51 and weighed in at 11 ounces
Miss White was born at 11:20 and weighed in at 12 1/8 ounces
Miss Red was born at 2:09 and weighed in at 11 1/4 ounces
At 4:20 the last pup arrived stillborn. We mourn his loss, but celebrate 13 beautiful pups who are going to certainly keep Paige and the rest of us busy over the next 8.5 weeks!

Marcy,
Perfectly written....so excited to see this blog -- have to tell you that you and Gayle are doing an incredible job and it's really cool how much you both share the process. I think I am eating up all kinds of data rates on my iPhone because I keep checking the webcam :-) now will be doing the same with the blog......just want to say thanks for taking the time to do this....means a lot.
